Our Texas Lake House Daydreams
We’ve spent many a pleasant afternoon daydreaming and discussing what our ideal Texas lake house would be for these lots. And of course we’ve come up with some ideas. Maybe some of these concepts will resonate with you. Of course, the beautiful thing about undeveloped land is that it’s a blank canvas for whatever concept burgeons in your mind.
What’s your ideal Texas lake house look like?

Some of our lake house concepts
- A split-level home with a courtyard to capture cooling breezes.
- Lots of nice views of the river from different angles and elevations.
- A rooftop walk or crow’s nest with a garden and space for sleeping under the stars.
- Not everyone is into it, but I personally like Just BioFiber, a hemp block technology that makes construction as easy as assembling Lego blocks. Ecofriendly, fire-resistant, and structurally sound, plus it cuts way down on your construction time.
- When you like, add in a garage apartment and a poolhouse for friends and family!
