The land at the back of this impressive lot is owned by the Army Corps of Engineers, which means it won’t be sold and will always offer a pristine view. This lot may not be lakefront, but only a short walk puts you on the riverbank of the Guadalupe. When watching the video, you’ll see the river bending toward Canyon Lake a few hundred feet northeast of the back of the lot. (The back is the wide end, farthest from the road).
The river’s a little difficult to spot from the air because of two reasons:
- the river is narrow at this spot because it has carved a deeper route at this spot, and
- the river’s south bank is very steep, which protects this Texas lake lot from flooding.
